“ Nice open spaced cafe. The deserts look great, but I think again look better than they are. But saying that, they’re still nice. The coffee was nice. Nice to sit outside on the benches when sunny, and quite a modern fresh feeling inside. It is meant to be table service but this isn’t clearly identified when entering. Some clear signing or welcome when entering would help a lot ”
“ A group of 6 had breakfast here yesterday Tuesday 26th November & we were all extremely impressed with the excellent food (5 x full English & a sausage & egg sandwich) & the staff are friendly, polite & nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended. ”
“ Was staying nearby and googled best English breakfast near me, this place was highly rated and I'm glad we gave it a go, absolutely outstanding breakfast! Tasty great quality and very substantial, dog friendly and the staff were super friendly, just wish it was nearer my home! I'd be there all the time. ”
“ 15/06/2025 - This is the second time we have been and once again it was delicious food, pleasant staff and overall a lovely experience. Four stars given as both of us had the breakfast but one of us asked for no egg, black pudding and beans. On receipt of the bill we had been charged full price for both. We felt that a little should have been deducted for the breakfast with items not included. Was not offered an alternative to these items either. Unlike the first visit, we felt today the staff were not as helpful and attentive. But, definitely recommend and will be going back. ”
“ Pretend you’re not in a big metal shed and this is a first class lunch option if in the area. Food was good value though not cheap, freshly prepared and creative. Plus other dishes going out to other tables looked equally if not more amazing - I particularly had food envy with the burgers! The real bonus for this kind of place was the service and staff though. A really well drilled professional team. A pleasure to watch on a very busy Tuesday lunch, no one panicked or stressed when dealing with a full restaurant. Top class, well done! ”
“ We found this place just because we were heading through to Northumberland and what a find! Easy to park and get the kids out, the place feels nice and the dining hall is large with plenty of seating spread apart nicely to not feel cramped. The food was brilliant and very good price for the ample portions. But the cherry on the cake for me was a baby change in the gents toilets! Fantastic! Good to see in the modern age and didn't make me feel guilty about changing my daughter's nappy in the disabled toilets! Also... Service was outstanding! Loved it! ”
“ Great choice for a hearty and tasty breakfast. Service was friendly and fast. American pancakes were fluffy and perfectly sweetened with fruit compote and granola. Overall fabulous food and great pricing for what you get. The only struggle we had was having to sit near doors, so it was quite cold with people coming in and out. ”
“ Absolutely phenomenal hidden gem. Both the service and food were incredible. The team were so attentive, engaged, friendly and on the ball. The All Day Breakfast was an absolute 10/10, highly recommend. Nice outdoor area, lovely in the sun. Looking forward to coming back to try the lunch menu. ”
